Assistance For Veterans

Their Mission

“Assistance For Veterans was established 10 years ago with the desire to deliver tons of food to hungry veterans in our communities. During this time our team produced a biography called Edgar Hernandez “POW” An American Hero, we also produced Honoring Forgotten Heroes as an eBook both were completed as volunteer projects.

Assistance For Veterans is determined to never leave anyone hungry—no matter what. We travel through the streets of Los Angeles, Inland Empire and other surrounding communities, San Diego, CA, Yuma, AZ to name a few and deliver our ‘Veteran Assistance Packs’, with healthy food items. No one should be homeless in America.”

Our Mission

Create a short-form documentary to raise awareness of the organization.

To achieve this, we followed Michael Caro around to document a full day of his food delivery process, including an interview with him at the outset, as well as candid remarks, along with pre-arranged interviews with two of the food recipients and an outside program director who coordinates with AFV.

Assistance For Veterans was not asked or required to fund this project in any form.
